The third season of Covert Affairs premiered in the summer of 2012 on the USA Network in the United States.
Covert Affairs was renewed for a third season on September 15,2011. The season consisted of 15 episodes. Season finale aired on November 20, 2012.
Season 3 introduced another recurring character Lena Smith, who becomes Annie's boss temporarily after a shake up causes some agents to be transferred from the DPD.
Oded Fehr returns in a series of episodes portraying Eyal Lavin.
